Laney has been a member of the Sandhills School family since the 7th grade. Laney was a founding member of the Varsity Cross Country team, and competed all four years of high school. In her time at Sandhills, Laney performed in many Sandhills plays and participated in the 2018 SCISA Regional Drama Festival production of The Apollo of Bellac. Laney also entered art work in the 2019 & 2020 SCISA Art Competition, and was a member of the American Sign Language Club. Laney is the Class of 2020 Valedictorian. She was accepted into 8 different colleges and universities and garnered an impressive $363,600 in scholarship offers. Laney is currently attending Anderson University and studying Elementary Education.
Leah has been a member of the Sandhills family since the 5th grade. While at Sandhills, Leah was a member of the American Sign Language club, and she played basketball, soccer, and volleyball, and also ran track. In her Senior year, she helped lead the Varsity Volleyball team. Leah was also a cast member in Dr. Sooney’s Medicine Show at the 2019 SCISA Regional Drama Festival. Leah was accepted into 7 different colleges & universities, and is attending Emory & Henry College in Emory, Virginia.
Sarah has been a member of the Sandhills School family since the 2nd grade. In her years at Sandhills, Sarah has run track & field, played tennis and disc golf, and was a founding member of the Cross Country team. Sarah was the lead in Dr. Sooney’s Medicine Show at the 2019 SCISA Regional Drama Festival, and was a cast member in the 2018 SCISA Regional Drama Festival performance of The Apollo of Bellac. She also competed in the SCISA Literary Meet in 2019. Sarah was a member of the Disc Golf club, American Sign Language club, and the editor of the 2020 Sandhillian Yearbook. Sarah is attending Anderson University.
Bailey has been a Sandhills Buck since the 2nd grade. Bailey has played Volleyball for Sandhills since middle school, and was the Captain of the Varsity team her senior season. Bailey was a founding member of the Equestrian team, and in 2018 won a National Title at the Interscholastic Equestrian Association Finals. Bailey was the stage manager and a cast member for the 2018 SCISA Regional Drama Festival production of The Apollo of Bellac. Bailey aspires to be a surgical tech after college.
Lucas joined Sandhills School in the 6th grade. In his time at Sandhills School, Lucas has been a member of the Bucks Disc Golf Club, American Sign Language Club, and was a founding member of the Cross Country team. Lucas was also the stats keeper for the Sandhills Basketball teams. Lucas participated in the 2019 SCISA Art Show, and had a photograph chosen for publication in the 2019 editition of RCPL’s Kids in Print magazine. Lucas is attending Spartanburg Methodist College.
