College Decision Day Celebration
Friday, April 29th at 9:45am
Parents are invited to join us as the entire campus gathers on the front lawn to celebrate the college choice of each of our Seniors!
*No seating on front lawn, BYO bag/lawn chair if you'd like.
**HS Students attending the Spring Formal are welcome to leave campus AT NOON to get ready for the big dance!

Midlands Gives
Tuesday, May 3rd
Starts at 6:00am
Join Central Carolina Community Foundation in the Midlands' largest giving day of the year! Giving on Midlands Gives day is an opportunity to celebrate the philanthropists in our community and support the work of local nonprofits. Plus, gifts made through MidlandsGives.org on the annual giving day are amplified through sponsor prize incentives! |
Field Day
Wednesday, May 4th
Noon Dismissal- No Aftercare
- Students should wear a swimsuit/water appropriate clothes, Sandhills t-shirt, and closed toed shoes to school
- Please apply sunscreen to your child before dropping them off at school
- Students should bring: towel & water bottle
- Optional: hat & a dry change of clothes for afternoon carpool
- A special Parent Council sponsored sweet treat provided for all students
Bucks Varsity & Middle School Sports Banquet
Monday, May 16th, 6:00pm
- Sports to be recognized: Cross Country, Volleyball, Fall Soccer, MS Basketball, Varsity Basketball, Equestrian, Golf, Tennis, Spring Soccer
- Each sport will be recognized and special awards will be presented!
- Dinner Provided, Tickets are $10
Merging Traffic & High School Awards Day
Thursday, May 26th at 9:00am
All HS Parents are welcome to join us on campus Thursday, May 26th at 9am for HS Awards Day & Merging Traffic!
High School students will be presented with A, A/B, & B Honor Roll. We will also present 5 special awards that have been voted on by the teachers. After awards are presented in the gym, we will move to the bright yellow arrow at the front of the building for Merging Traffic.
Merging Traffic is one of our favorite traditions here at Sandhills! Every year our Seniors decorate a ball that is placed in the arrow to signify that the "Sky is the Limit" for our graduates! We hope that you will be able to join us for this special day!
Thursday, May 26th is the last full day of school for high school students. HS Teachers have planned a special celebration that will end at 2:50. While Seniors have the option to leave campus after the ceremony, we do hope that they will stay and enjoy the festivities!
*HS Students should wear their Sandhills uniform or dress up for the occasion. Seniors may want to bring a change of shoes to climb the ladder.
**High School students are welcome to attend the 4pm Graduation Ceremony on Friday, May 27th, but there will be no activities on campus that morning.
Elementary Awards Day
Friday, May 27th at 8:30am
Elementary parents, grandparents, & special friends are welcome to join us on campus for our Annual Awards Day presentation!
Light Reception to Follow.
Notes for the Day Of:
- Students should wear their Sandhills uniform or dress up for the occasion
- Student drop off as normal: 8:00-8:15 AM
- Please drop off student(s) in carpool line before parking and heading into the Anne M. Vickers Building for Elementary Awards Day.
- Students will be dismissed at the conclusion of the ceremony- no aftercare available.
Middle School Awards Day
Friday, May 27th at 10:00am
Middle School parents, grandparents, & special friends are welcome to join us on campus for our Annual Awards Day presentation!
Light Reception to Follow.

- Guest seating for MS Awards Day will begin at 9:45AM in the Anne M. Vickers Building.

Class of 2022 Graduation Ceremony
Friday, May 27th at 4:00pm
All High School Students and Parents are welcome to join us for a Graduation Ceremony at 4pm with a light reception to follow.
**High School students are welcome to attend the Graduation Ceremony, but there will be no activities on campus that morning.
