Sandhills is the only school in the Midlands that is nationally accredited by the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators (AOGPE).

Sandhills is a resource for the community, offers a summer skills camp and tutor opportunities to outside students, and strives to develop the potential of each student by fostering intellectual curiosity, principled character and a commitment to serve.
