Journey to Sandhills
After two decades in public schools across California and Maine, Danielle saw firsthand how the needs of students with dyslexia were not being met. In 2018, she began a personal journey to better advocate for and support students with learning differences. A friend introduced her to Sandhills School, and after visiting, she instantly knew she had found the right place.
“As soon as I met the administration and staff, I knew this was the place I was meant to be.”
What I Value About the Sandhills Community
Danielle appreciates being part of a team that not only recognizes but also celebrates the strengths of dyslexic thinkers. She values the school's understanding, supportive environment and its mission to empower every learner.
