Journey to Sandhills
Carolyn joined Sandhills after her child was diagnosed with dyslexia and began attending the school. With over 20 years of experience in a variety of teaching settings, she quickly found that the Sandhills approach matched her own passion for helping students thrive through individualized instruction.
What I Value About the Sandhills Community
The supportive environment and shared mission keep Carolyn grounded in her work. Whether collaborating with colleagues or celebrating student success, she’s proud to be part of a school that truly sees each learner’s potential.
Why I Enjoy Working with Students with Dyslexia
Carolyn finds purpose in supporting students who learn differently.
“I feel like I’m making a difference.”
She’s inspired every day by her students’ creativity, talent, and resilience.
