Criteria for Admission

Sandhills School admits students in grades first through eleventh with an average to superior intelligence with a diagnosed language-based learning difference, including dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia. Applicants should have a current (within three years) psycho-educational evaluation which must include an individual intelligence test such as the WISC III. Sandhills School cannot accept students who have primary emotional or behavioral issues, Bi-polar disorder, or Pervasive Developmental Disorder.

Applicants can apply throughout the year, and will be considered for admission on a rolling basis as vacancies become available.
