The Sandhills School faculty has more training and experience in highly specialized instruction than any school in the Midlands area. All faculty members are required to take a minimum of 60 hours of Orton-Gillingham training. Our Language Training (LT) teachers hold national certification by the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators.

Not only do our teachers excel in their field, but they are also very dedicated to every student at Sandhills. The excellent faculty and staff are key to the success of Sandhills School and the success of our students. Our teachers stay informed of current education research and approaches by participating in continuing education opportunities such as workshops, seminars, and conferences.
